What is the different between a medical spa and a spa?

Medical spas operate under the supervision of a medical doctor. Medical Spas offer non-surgical treatments in a relaxing environment. They use state of the art technological treatments addressing issues lying under the skins surface. All products are physician grade and generally penetrate deeper in your skin which can make a difference in the texture, tone and pigmentation. Examples of treatments available at a medical spa include laser skin rejuvenation, injectable wrinkle fillers, BOTOX®, laser hair removal, and more. A spa or day spa can offer only surface level cosmetic treatments such as facials. They focus on relaxation and beauty. A medical spa focuses on long-term results requiring a doctor’s expertise.

What does the terms invasive procedures and non-invasive procedures mean?

Invasive surgery involves large incisions which enable a doctor to work with their hands inside a patient while non-invasive surgery uses only small incisions and tiny instruments. Examples of non-invasive procedures are Botox® treatments, filler treatments and laser treatments.

Is there a financing plan?

Yes, we provide our clientele with the options of using the CareCredit medical loan option or we provide in-house financing.

When speaking about laser procedures, joules are what?

The joule (pronounced DJOOL) is the standard unit of energy in electronics and general scientific applications. One joule is defined as the amount of energy exerted when a force of one newton is applied over a displacement of one meter. One joule is the equivalent of one watt of power radiated or dissipated for one second.

Is there such thing as the body creating a resistance to Botox®?

According to the Allergan Company, there has been no proven fact that the body builds up immunity to the product Botox®. The body’s response to the paralysis of the product after long term use actually allows

Where are you located?

We are conveniently located in the lower level of Regency Medical Center in the Fox Glen Professional Offices located on Hwy 22 between Kelsey Rd. and Northwest Hwy 14. Once you enter the Fox Glen Professional Offices, take an immediate right and follow the road around to the back buildings. We are building number 200. Once inside our building take the elevator to the lower level. We are the office on the right as you exit the elevator.
